God is growing his family and he’s using his family to do it. Through our relationships with unbelievers, God will bring new kids into his family. Through our relationships with each other, God will grow us to look more like Christ. We’d better get to work making room in our hearts and lives for all this growth!

Sticks and stones? They've got nothing compared to the most dangerous muscle in your body: the tongue. What we say, according to the Bible, can crush another human being or cause them to soar. When it comes to our relationships in God's family, what we say can do more good - and more harm - than almost anything else.

Coming to Christ is not just a matter of nodding our heads and praying a prayer. When we truly surrender our lives, according to the Bible, God changes us from head to toe. We keep our name and the clothes on our backs, but everything else changes! Jesus calls it being “born again.”

God's plan for our relationships includes his desire that we make him first, his family second, and all others third. He calls us to love our spiritual family sacrificially, knowing that we will be spending all of forever together!
