Planting season: vision keys
It is a law of God’s creation that seasons of harvest always follow seasons of planting. We all long for the harvest season. There’s nothing better than savoring the fruits of our labors! We have been looking ahead at the future for Morningside and considering how we will plant today so that we may harvest good fruit in the seasons to come. Join us as Pastor Jonathan continues to teach the Scriptures and unpacks the Planting Season vision each week. Pray that God would grant us grace to discern and follow his will together!

Brown bag of columbus
You can adopt a chicken for $5 to provide a low-income senior citizen with a chicken for Thanksgiving. You can designate your donation for Brown Bag and place it in the offering plate, give it through your Bible Fellowship class, or to the church office.
Morningside tutoring program
We are so thankful for the opportunity to serve the children in our neighborhood through our new Tutoring Program! We are already seeing the wonderful impact our program is making by allowing us to be the hands and feet of Jesus while serving the needs of these precious children! Our tutor volunteers are such a blessing to the children each week, and we are looking for more volunteers who are feeling led by God to make a positive impact on our future generations. The Lottie Moon Post office
The Lottie Moon Post Office will be in the Gathering Room during the late November-Christmas period. This "Post Office" is a chance for Morningside members to "save postage costs" by dropping off Christmas cards for fellow church members. The money you save can be donated to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. Check for your own mail every Sunday by looking in your box (alphabetically arranged by last names). The Lottie Moon Offering is collected by Southern Baptists to support International Missions. The entire offering goes to the International Mission Board's overseas budget, supporting missionaries and their work.
The weekday Preschool Ministry is collecting donations of personal hygiene items throughout the month of November to go into Blessing Boxes that we will be delivering to local women’s and children’s shelters here in our community. If you would like to be a blessing to others, items may be dropped off at the Family Center donation boxes located in the lobby or you may contact Christina Baptiste via email at PreschoolAdmin@monringsidebaptist.com for more information about this wonderful opportunity to give back to our community.
