The Power of God’s Names

To fully grasp the significance and power of knowing God’s names, you first need to understand the context of names within biblical cultures.

In Old Testament times a name was more than simply nomenclature. It was, rather, a replica and revelation of the individual or thing itself.

Because of God’s depth of character, He has a variety of names to reflect His different capacities of relating to humanity.

God has a name for any and every situation you can find yourself in. Get to know the names of God because it is in knowing His character

and His capacity that you will rest and discover both peace and power in His covenant care.

A Study of Revelation

Join us on a journey to study one of the most intriguing books of the Bible. This will be a 23 week course that is intended to cover

a chapter of scripture every Wednesday night until we complete reading and reviewing all 22 chapters. I will be using the EVS Bible

as a means to study God’s word and share insights provided. The lessons are intended to be an introductory level study of His word

concerning the Apostle John, his sharing things recorded in present time, as well as prophecy of things yet to come. The course will go through

the end of May and then take a pause through the summer and will resume once again when Wednesday night classes begin in the Fall.

Wednesday Evenings at 6:30 PM. Begins April 3rd. Room D236. No cost. Facilitator: Kenny Harper.
