Looking for a Bible Fellowship class? The Bible calls for us to never forsake the meeting together with other believers (Hebrews 10:25).

Every Sunday morning at 9:00 AM we have classes meeting all over our campus.

We have a wide variety of topics and age ranges. Stop by the Welcome Center in the Gathering Room to discover options and find a good place to start.

We would love to help you find a Bible Fellowship class.

Bible Studies going on NOW, in the Bible Fellowship Classes on Sunday mornings:

The Gospel Project
The Gospel Project for Adults takes men and women on a chronological, Christ-centered journey through the storyline of Scripture.

Each week, participants will encounter God's plan of redemption in Scripture through study of the biblical narrative, the essential doctrines of the faith,

and the call to join in God's mission locally and around the world.

Essential Messages from God’s Servants is adult Bible study designed for Sunday School classes, small groups,

and individuals who prefer deeper spiritual insight and daily personal study. These interactive studies are based on works of respected

Christian authors and leaders in a challenging Bible study format.

Explore the Bible
For every Christian, a deep knowledge of the Word helps make the difference between a shallow faith and a life of trust and obedience.

This kind of faith does not come from information but through the transformation encouraged by a deep dwelling of the Word of God.
Explore the Bible: Adults helps participants grow in their love for Scripture personally and in their study groups, gain new knowledge about what the

Bible teaches, develop biblical disciplines, and internalize the Word in a way that impacts their daily life.

Bible Studies for Life
Coffee? We're big fans. But while it's a great way to welcome people, it will never help them grow as disciples.

That's why Bible Studies for Life: Adults is intentionally designed to help your groups make disciples through:

In-depth Bible study that addresses real-life issues Engaging conversation that helps build biblical community

"Live It Out" application that challenges participants to engage culture biblically

In order to grow in our faith, the following actions are essential for Christians to incorporate in our lives on a daily basis:

Have a daily quiet time

During this time, focus on making Christ Lord of your life

Discipline yourself to think of God throughout your day

Be aware of God’s leading and discipline throughout your day

Read the Bible daily

Study passages of scripture to understand the historical context, people involved, and biblical principles that can be applied to your life

Memorize a verse of Scripture each week

Take notes as you hear, read or study the Bible in order to apply what you learn to your life

Pray fervently about everything (not just the big stuff)

Keep a prayer list and pray for the persons and concerns on the list daily

Keep track of prayers that have been answered and thank God

Your prayers should include thanksgiving, praise, confession, petition and intercession
Use the ACTS method of prayer

Be an active part of the church, which is the family of God

Seek to live in peace with other Christians

Seek to reconcile with those who have a problem with you or with whom you have a problem

Demonstrate your relationship with Christ by the way you love God’s people

Live in harmony with members of your family

Pray regularly for lost persons by name

Tell your salvation story with others as opportunities arise

Be prepared to share the plan of salvation with those who are open to hear it

Pray for and be prepared to witness for Christ on a weekly basis

Be and encourager to persons you have led to Christ

Allow God to work through you, using your skills, talents, spiritual gifts, passions and experiences

Serve Christ by serving in your church

Give at least a tithe through your church

Do kind deeds for persons who are less fortunate than you

Be Jesus to someone who needs to be blessed

These six spiritual disciplines are covered in detail in the discipleship course, The Disciple’s Cross by Avery T. Willis, Jr.,

which is taught on a recurring basis as part of The Journey at Morningside. This six-week course is an accredited course as part of

The Journey: Biblical Lifestyle series. Refer to the Spiritual Health Planner for dates this course will be taught in the future.
