As Women of Morningside,
our purpose is to exalt Christ by
encouraging and equipping women through
Bible Study, Prayer, Fellowship,
Service, and Missions.
Prayer
Our Intercessory Prayer Team receives confidential prayer requests
from our congregation and others. This group meets in the Prayer Parlor weekly
to conduct deep intercessory prayer on behalf of those in need. Additionally,
another team meets to pray for our staff, deacons and congregation. Both groups
pray for the unsaved and for our church, community, nation, and world. Please
join us in this effort.

Bible Study
Our Bible Study team provides opportunities for women to grow spiritually through the study of God’s word. Day and Evening
classes are available.

Fellowship
Our fellowship team organizes special events such as retreats,
dinners, teas, etc.

Ministry
Our Ministry team focuses on the needs of our members.
Widows Might Ministry serves our widows through monthly meetings and encouragement through the year.

Communication team assists with publicity, bulletin boards, and newsletters.

Missions
Our Missions team informs and encourages women to participate in mission efforts locally, nationally, and abroad.
They plan events and trips, enlist volunteers to serve and evangelize at the following local agencies:
Christian Women’s Job Corps: A job training program for women who have been without opportunities.

Sound Choices Pregnancy Clinic (Formerly Crisis Pregnancy Center): A safe alternative counseling center for women with unwanted pregnancies.
