Meet the Pastor

OCTOBER 30, 2011
FAN DAY
Fan Day gives you a chance to do two things you love at the same time: cheer your favorite team and draw someone into a relationship with Jesus. Here’s how it works.

work Outreach takes effort. So make every effort to ask someone – that loves the same team you love, maybe – to join you for church and a tailgate party that your Sunday School class hosts.

Sunday School Class Tailgate Party Check with your Sunday School class for food and parking lot arrangements on that day, November 6.

November 6 is time change Sunday, so remember to turn back the clock 1 hour before you snooze.

snooze Don’t go to sleep on Fan Day. Everyone pulls for some team so take advantage of that dynamic and use it to the advantage of your Sunday School class.

Sunday School Class Growing Sunday School means starting classes. The Blueprint calls for 10 new classes each year for the next 5 years. Let’s add the First Five for 2012 during the month of January.

January, 2012, holds 5 Sundays. If we launch 1 new Sunday School class on the five Sundays of January then we meet half our growth goal right from the start.

start Listen to the voice of God. If He asks you to start – teach, facilitate or help launch – a new Sunday School class then do it. His voice and calling are all you need.

need Check with your Sunday School teacher if you have questions about Fan Day. I’ll see you there.
