How do you make Morningside your church?
Good question. There are Several Steps
STEP TO THE RIGHT: Step one allows you to move in one of four directions.
- Step 1: Speak with Pastor Thad Smith at the conclusion of worship [invitation].
- Step 2: Complete the “How do I make Morningside my church?” tear-away
portion of the bulletin and drop it in the offering.
- Step 3: Call the church office and let Kathy Powell know you plan to make lunch on the 2nd Sunday of the month.
- Step 4: Show up for lunch in the fellowship hall on the 2nd Sunday of the Month.
LET’S DO LUNCH: We’ll eat a lite bite together that day then do 3 membership sessions, Christianity 101, Baptism and Spiritual Gifts
MEMBERSHIP gives you a place at the table, so to speak, when the church makes decisions. The sessions boost your confidence of your
relationship with Christ, gets you up to speed with immersion, and empowers you and Morningside with your ministry.
MINISTRY God calls you to use your gifts. He carves out a unique place for you to minister and serve here at Morningside.
How can you experience the extraordinary life?
The extraordinary life begins with a relationship with Jesus, who died and was raised so we could truly live! The Bible describes
this as "eternal life," and offers it to all those who are willing to turn from their sins, make Jesus their Lord,
and trust Him for forgiveness. We would love to have a chance to help you come to know Jesus!
How can you submit a prayer request?
We would love to be able to prayerfully support you as you experience needs in life. Prayer requests at Morningside are prayed
for multiple times each week.
How can you respond to what I've heard this morning at Morningside?
If God has spoken to you about something today, we hope you'll share that with us. At the end of each service, the pastor will
issue an invitation. At that time you can commit your decision to God and ask for His help and leading.
What time are the Worship Services and Sunday School?
Sunday School is on Sunday's at 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Worship Services are on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Prayer Meeting
is on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
