Our mission...
To know Jesus Christ and to make Him known.

The mission is biblically based upon the following verses:

"Love the Lord your God(worship) with all your heart and with all your sould and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.

And the second is like it:

"Love your neighbor(ministry to non-members and caring for members) as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."Matthew 22:36-40
"Go and make disciples(evangelism) of all nations, baptizing them (Fellowship) in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to do (discipleship) everything I have commanded you." Matthew 28:19-20

Our Vision
Morningside exists to provide an environment where people can discover and develop a relationship with God through Jesus Christ that is passionate and intimate.

Our Core Values
  • Obedience to the Bible:

    • Our authority is the Bible. 2 Tim 3:16
  • Lordship of Christ:

    • Our Lord is Jesus Christ. Phil 2:9-11, Col. 1:18
  • Praying for all things:

    • Our power is in prayer. Matt. 21:13
  • Accepting all people:

    • Our desire is to be relevant. 1 Cor. 9:19-23
  • Witnessing to the lost

    • Our commitment is to share the Good News. Acts 1:8
  • Ministering to all people:

    • Our heart is meeting needs. Acts 2:44-45
  • Growing spiritually:

    • Our desire is to make disciples. Acts 2:42
